Amir Muradali, President
Amir has served in numerous capacities in the oil and gas industry over the last 15 years including as an internal Management Consultant to TransCanada Ltd from 2008 to 2013, a Management Consultant at IBM and a Research Engineer at C-FER Technologies. Amir holds a Bachelor of Science (with Distinction) and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and an MBA from Queen's University (2006).
George Watson, Advisor
In his 35 plus years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Watson has held various senior executive roles in large organizations. Mr. Watson is the former President and CEO of TransCanada Pipelines Ltd from 1993 to 1999, and the CFO from 1990 to 1993. Prior to TransCanada, Mr. Watson held senior executive roles in Dome Petroleum and was the CEO of Intensity Resources Ltd. Currently, Mr. Watson sits on the boards of Teekay LNG LLP, Badger Income Trust, Fortress Energy Inc., Canadian Spirit Resources Inc., Mako Energy Ltd. and Poplar Creek Resources Inc. Former directorships include the Conference Board of Canada, the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), the Canadian Energy Pipelines Association (CEPA), Queen's University, Calgary Olympic Development Association (CODA), the Toronto Dominion (TD) Bank, plus many other entities. Mr. Watson holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree and MBA from Queen's University, as well as, an A.M.P. from Harvard, and has completed the Stanford Law School Director's Program.
Devon Bolton, Advisor
Devon comes to us with 17 years’ experience as a successful entrepreneur in the areas of product positioning, brand strategy, and cross channel marketing; leadership coaching and development; management consulting; and film and television production. Devon also has experience working with senior leaders of organizations, providing counsel and coaching to effectively communicate the Company’s position to the market.
Shai Dubey, Advisor
Shai Dubey is Director of the Queen’s Full-Time MBA and Master of International Business programs. As a member of the Queen’s School of Business faculty, he teaches Business Law in several of the School’s programs. He is also a corporate commercial lawyer and has practiced law at several major law firms in Toronto. He has been retained by many organizations to provide advice on corporate governance issues, and has extensive experience in negotiating major business transactions.
Laura Doskotch, Communications Advisor
Laura Doskotch graduated from the University of Victoria with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2006. After working in the lobbying industry and the BC Government for several years, she moved to Calgary to pursue her MBA degree. At Haskayne, she took on the Communications Manager and Vice President-Internal roles for the Haskayne MBA Society, and stayed active with one of the competitive case teams and the MBA mentorship program. Laura is pursuing a career in communications and organizational health. In her spare time, Laura takes full advantage of the nearby Rocky Mountains through a range of outdoor pursuits.
